MetallicA
Formed in 1980 the band was made up of four member which only two are current today. These members are James Hetfield-vocals and rythem guitar, Lars Ulrich-drums, Dave Mustaine lead guitar, and Ron on bass. After playing many shows with little talent they found out what they were missing. It was at a local club where they found Clifford Lee Burton playing for a club on bass. The band was absolutely amazed. Cliff was asked to join and talentless ron was asked to leave. Right when they started to mahe their first album KILL EM ALL they had to kick out Dave because of a major drug and drinking problem. Then on April 1st 1982 Kirk Lee Hammet was asked to join. At first he didn't take then serious since it was April fools day but gladely joined. Together they made the album under the metal force label. 1983 they started working on their second album RIDE THE LIGHTING which produced the number one suicide song Fade To Black. In 1984 The produced the album MASTER OF PUPPETS a tragic event happened on tour for this album. The tour bus skid out and fliped over on a icy road in sweden throwing bassest Clifford Lee Bueton from the top bunk and out the window where the bus landed on him September 27 1986. The band came to a hault for a yaer after this event. They proceded on with a new bassest named Jason Newsted from a band named Fletom and Jetsom. Their first recording together was GARAGE DAYS (which is being relesed again the summer). August 25 1988 the album AND JUSTICE FOR ALL... was relesed. From this Album their first video was released.One-The concept of one was of a man going to war and coming bask a veggie.This video concept was from the movie Johny got his gun. In 1991 MetallicA put out the slt titled album a.k.a. Black album. This album brought forth six well known hits. and a number of video's. After this tour then took a year away from each other to free them selves in 1995 the started writing for the album LOAD which was relesed in 1996. On this tour they proved they still had it and it was #3 for the best concert under ozzfest 97 and that chick tour. In 1997 they put out reload which put out two videos and three hit songs.
